With only a few days until the new year I usually take an opportunity to look back on the year, I am very much a forward thinking person, always trying to figure out what to do next or how to do something better the next time around. Our Christmas eve services went really well, the 7:30 hour was one that I wish I could have captured in it’s entirety and could keep it for a really long time to play back etc. Knowing that, this is something that is not possible, I will move on and attempt to create many more technically excellent services that bring glory to God our Father. May God bless you and your ministry in the coming year.
Challenges of Christmas
13 12 2007In ministry Christmas time is an especially busy time. You know it’s a busy Sunday when every channel is used on your sound board, and the platform is maxed out, or the auditorium is filled to the max with standing room only. Being in ministry is a Joy at Christmas. Even though in the next week my team will have 4 rehearsals 3 Christmas eve services, and a Sunday morning Christmas service its all worth it. The tech team will be stretched to the max and pull hours of rehearsal and set up time, but its all worth it. It’s all worth it because we need to remember that we wouldn’t be celebrating this Christmas if it wasn’t for Jesus. May you have a blessed and peaceful Christmas.

Washington D.C.
5 12 2007This weekend I will be in Washington D.C. planning YouthQuest 2008. This cool event will take place for senior high youth from across the Brethren In Christ denomination. My prayer is that as we seek speakers, bands, and other creative elements that we will recognize God’s direction for this awesome conference. This event was a life changing event for me when I was a youth and today I am helping to plan and follow up with being the video director at the upcoming 08 conference. Check out the website for YQ here.

Today is my first official post just to get the ball rolling. Be sure to look for post in the upcoming days and weeks as I figure out how much I will actually use this blog.
